Things We Don’t Do (For Safety & Practical Reasons)

At Clean My Spot, we want to ensure your home is clean and safe. While we can accommodate many special requests, some things we simply can't do for your health, safety, or due to legal reasons. Here's a breakdown:

Non-Negotiable Limitations

These are things we can’t do, no matter what. We have to be firm about these for everyone’s safety:

Pest Infestation Cleanups: We can’t clean homes with pest issues (bed bugs, cockroaches, mice, etc.) or pest droppings.
Biohazards: We can’t clean bodily fluids, feces, urine, or vomit from humans or animals.
Ladders: We don’t use ladders taller than 3 steps for safety reasons.
Heavy Lifting: We can’t lift or move heavy items (over 20 lbs).
Mold & Mildew: We can’t clean severe mold or mildew issues. You would need to consult a mold specialist.
Contagious Illnesses: If anyone in the home has a contagious illness, we will need to reschedule.
Construction Areas: We can’t clean homes under major construction or without essential utilities (water, electricity, heating, etc.).

Optional Services (If You Ask)

These tasks are not included in your standard service but can be added for an additional fee. Simply ask us when booking or during service!

Dishwashing: We don’t typically wash dishes, but if you’d like us to, just select it as an add-on during booking.
Exterior Windows: We don’t clean the outside of windows, but we’re happy to do so as an additional service.
Oven Cleaning: We don’t usually clean inside ovens, but this can be added for a fee if you prefer.
Organizing: We don’t offer full organizing services, but can tidy up or put things away for an extra charge.

Important Reminders

Clutter: If there’s excessive clutter, we might not be able to clean safely or thoroughly. Please help clear the space before we arrive.
Disrespectful Behavior: We have a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful behavior towards our team. If that happens, we’ll have to reschedule or cancel the service.
